Have you tried your first 2014 salad roll yet? If not and you’re still stuck with some greasy fattening ham and cheese sandwiches or sugary breakfast cereals – now it’s your time to start!
So why would we want to swap bread spread to Avocado?
Butter as well as most common bread spreads can have serious effects on our health including clogging up our arteries which is leading to cardiac disease and stroke for example.
Avocado on the other hand is known to keep our body healthy by:
- containing plenty of antioxidants which for example help keeping our eyes healthy. (I assume anyone who doesn’t want to go blind from eye diseases will surely appreciate this fact.)
- helping to reduce cholesterol levels and therefore lowers the risk of heart disease and heart attacks. (I think a much better option than the common bread spreads here!)
- containing plenty of fiber which keeps our digestive system healthy. (Anyone problems with constipation? – Go green and start with your avocado salad sandwich now!)
Adding Avocado to your menu also makes you feel full – so you eat less.
Who is now convinced that swapping butter and bread spread to some avocado is a fantastic choice? I certainly am.
