Don’t underestimate what Cabbage can do for us!

Hi everyone!

Who has tried last week’s wonderful Cabbage and Chickpea Salad recipe? Who hasn’t? Now it’s time to do it because …

Cabbage is a bit of a boring veggie to most of us, true? We use it in some salads but we never really think about the fantastic benefits cabbage has for us.

  • Cabbage is a powerful force to protect Cabbage by Sandy Bröcking_Think Smart & Lose Weightour body from cancer. It is even known to be able to make cancer cells destroy themselves.
  • Cabbage is known to be a great cleansing tool for our blood.
  • Cabbage is great for our liver and increases the liver function.
  • Especially red cabbage is full of powerful antioxidants which protect our body from diseases

Therefore, whoever hasn’t done it yet, look up last week’s recipe and make yourself a great, tasty, low calorie but powerful health boosting lunch or dinner.

Enjoy cabbage raw or slightly cooked and get all the health benefits from it! (Cooking it for too long is known to destroy most of the health benefits.)

As with most things in life: Balanced consumption is a great benefit for our body. Too much of it can affect our thyroid function. So please don’t overdo. There is no need to eat cabbage every day.

Take care of your body – It’s worth it!
