Here comes another simple and slimming salad idea …
Take (for 1 person):
- ¼ green Oakleaf lettuce (washed and torn in chewable pieces)
- ½ cucumber (washed, sliced and cut in slices in halves.
- Small piece of pumpkin (size that fits in your hand). Take the skin of and cut in chewable pieces
- 1 tbl spoon Flaxseed oil
- 1 tbl spoon water
- Ground pepper and mixed herbs
Add all veggies into a large serving bowl, sprinkle some flaxseeds on top, mix Flaxseed oil and water for your dressing, season with pepper and mixed herbs.
Tipp: Serve as it is, with a wholemeal roll or cook some brown rice as per instructions.
Tasty food does not need to be complicated nor covered in fat …
