Healthiest & Slimming Recipe for Waldorf Salad

Hi everyone,

Have you ever thought of a less calorie carrying, tastier and much healthier option of the standard often ‘mayonnaise loaded’ Waldorf Salad?

Here it is:Waldorf Salad_Think Smart & Lose Weight_Sandy Bröcking

Serves 2

What you need:

  • 1 Lettuce
  • 1/2 Celery
  • 2 handful grapes
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 Granny Smith apple
  • Small handful walnuts
  • For dressing: Tahini, olive oil, lemon juice

What to do:

  • Wash and cut the lettuce to biteable pieces. Fill up 2 large serving bowl to ¾
  • Wash and slice celery and add handful to each bowl
  • Wash grapes and add to salad
  • Wash cherry tomatoes and add 5-8 to each bowl
  • Wash Granny Smith apple, cut into thumb size bites and add half to each bowl
  • Crush walnuts and sprinkle on top
  • For dressing: Mix 1 tablespoon Tahini, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 tablespoon water and little lemon juice. Pour half of mixed dressing over each bowl and serve.
