On a cold night when you’re after a warming but healthy dinner, one that’ll help you shed some kilos at the same time, look out for some seasonal specials at your grocery shop.
- A pack of green beans
- 2 bundles asparagus
- 1 turnip
- 6 Brussels’ Sprouts
Life just can’t be simpler and tastier!
- Cut of all the unneeded bits (ends of beans and outer parts of Brussels’ Sprouts and turnip).
- Wash the lot
- Heat all in a big cooking pot with little water and cook for 5-6 mins. Strain and pour into a serving bowl.
- Add little sesame oil and ground pepper for taste.
Remember: A wonderful meal does not need to be deep fried or covered in fat. Why not enjoy the healthy way of life instead!
