Is fat really bad for us?

A lot is talked about how bad fats are for us but this is not necessarily true.

Our bodies need fat to function. Fats protect our organs and Nuts by Sandy Bröckingour nerve cells. We need fat to absorb essential vitamins. Fatty acids are needed for inflammation, healing and the health of our body cells. They also affect our mood and behavior.

Here we go. Fat is needed by our body and can be really good for us. The key is to make the right choice and to know what the right fats are for our body:

Processed fats for example are well-known to clog up our arteries which can often lead to heart disease or stroke.

Plant based fats like fats from nuts, seeds or avocados on the other hand are known to be able to clean up our arteries and even scrub them free from blockages. Avocados by Sandy Bröcking

Always remember though that we don’t need too much of it and I always say: “Please don’t have a jar of nuts if you would like to lose some weight”.  In small amounts though some nuts are actually known to be able to help our bodies lose weight.

    to be really somеthing that I think I would never understand.
    It seems tooo complicated aand extremely broad for me. I’m looking forward for your nextt
