It’s Autumn …

After a wonderful ‘leaf fight’ with a dear friendAutumn by Sandy Bröcking in the street I thought it’s odd that once we grow older we often don’t appreciate the beauty of nature anymore as much.

Is it that we don’t have the time anymore? That we are always rushing through our life? Is it that once we reach a certain age we are supposed to act on it and appear ‘matured’?

The fact is that when we are young we don’t care as much about dirty clothes, getting wet or muddy. Kids love jumping into puddles and playing in the dirt and they have a great time doing it.

Once we grow older most of us usually try to avoid any kind of mud or puddles. We usually walk around it in a big circle and complain if we get mud or splashes on our clothes.

Why don’t we learn a bit from our kids and try to look at our life a bit less serious?

Why don’t we happily jump into a puddle or have a wonderful leaf fight and enjoy nature as we should do?Autumn leaves by Sandy Bröcking

I found out that the more you look at the bright side of life, take things less seriously and have a good play every now and then, the more likely you truly enjoy your life and the easier it is to lose weight as well.

By the way I’m going to be 26 for the next couple of years. How old are you?

Happy leaf fight to everyone!
